Still Life Photograph

Still life is a art genre in Photography. I have discovered that still life isn't just a Genre in Art, it's a genre within life aswell. This is our whole class slide show, that is not quiet finished yet but its making process. We have been learning about all the different artist within the slide show. Like for example Memento Mori is a still life artist, which he uses oil paint and makes them realistic and takes a photograph of them. The term “still life” describes a work of art that shows inanimate objects from the natural or man-made world, such as fruit, flowers, dead game, and/or vessels like baskets. 

So in conclusion still life photograph is interesting to research about when your bored, but still cool and fascinating.

First Merit in English is a Big achivement for You

 During the lockdown, I had a chance to finish off one of my English assinments. That assinment was to do with pactice exam. In class we put our mines to the test, to work like we were in the real exam. Which was hard, ( because the neighbour next to me couldn't stop talking) anyways, It took me around about 4 to 5 english lessons to get a good mind set. Well I finished the test at home and got a MERIT, which I am proud of my self. English and Huri do NOT mix well, which is any achivement. 

Ive used ALOT of WHICH's in that intro.  We also had to ad words from the essay questions. The highlighted words are the important  words.

We were doing the exam on the book The Hunger Games. The question we had to do our essay on is Describe an important relationship in the text. Explain how this relationship helped you to understand wider society

Anyways here's my essay thing.

In the novel the Hunger Games, written by Suzanne Collins. An important relationship is between Katniss Everdeen and Rue. Katniss,the  main character in the novel, is a tribute for the 74th Annual Hunger games. Katniss is one of the 24 opponents which must fight for their life in order to survive and win for their district. What I'll be writing about is Katniss and Rues' relationship during the novel.

Describing:  The relationship between Katniss Everdeen and Rue is very important. They first meet each other in the Capitol when they are training for the Hunger Games in the training centre. Katniss notices that Rue is timid, very young and follows Katniss around like a shadow. Rue looks up to Katniss as she has seem Katniss volunteer as tribute for Prim, her younger sister,m during the Reaping, which is when two tributes from each of the 12 districts are picked to take part to the death in the Hunger Games, organised by President Snow in the rich Capitol. When they meet again in the games, Katniss feels a sense of protection towards this little girl and tries to help her.

The relationship between Katniss and Rue is important as it showcases the idea of trust, which is important in our world today. This trust is shown when Katniss and Rue risk their lives in order to help each other when they are working together as tributes in the 74th Hunger Games. Rue trusts Katniss by pointing out the tracker jackers to her when Katniss is up a tree trying to avoid being killed by the Careers and Peeta. When Katniss wakes up early in the morning, she sees Rue in a newareby tree who points out the nest to her. Katniss is then able to cut down the tracker jacker nest so that it falls onto the Careers, killing 1 and chasing all the others away. This teaches us that trust and companionship is really important during challenging times in our lives. For example, the best friendships are ones where the people in that relationship have each other’s backs no matter what, even if it means putting themselves at risk in order to protect their mates.

Katniss and Rue’s relationship also shows the important idea of loyalty 

The relationship between Katniss and Rue shows the importance of loyalty, which is related to our society. No matter what danger Katniss and Rue are in, they have each other’s backs. Katniss and Rue have a secret signal to show they are safe and they are ready to meet up again this shows that they trust each other. While Katniss escapes the carres after cutting down the tracker jacker nest down on top of them, she passes out from the venom. When she wakes she notices that she has been taken care of by Rue. Katniss and  rue  from there protect each other from other tributes and help each other stay alive. Rue helps Katniss build some bomb fire next in order to distract the careers in thinking that there's someone at the bomb fire. Before Katniss and Rue went their ways they had a plan to connect with each other through the mockingjays. The mockingjays are Katniss and Rue's secret signal to know that they are safe and that we’ll meet up soon.

In Conclusion an important relationship during the novel is between Katniss and Rue. The two pear have shown an important relationship to a wider society, especially Katniss.She protected Rue from the other tributes, shows loyalty and compassion towards Rue by not going behind her back, and being a big sister figure to Rue. After Rue dies Katniss shows respect Setting a goal to win for the both of them.

Refection on Rabbit Proof Fence

The rabbit proof fence is a very dark and sad movie to watch. It talks about the stolen generations, a generation of aboriginals that were taken away from their families and fostered by Europeans or White people. The Europeans where making the aborginals the slaves and raping them. Molly, Daisy and Gracie are characters from the movie. In the movie they are the three trio that esacpe the Moore River Settlement to go home to there mother in Jigalong. Half way though the movie Gracie never made it home. I like the fact that Molly and Daisy made it home and had the confidence to speak out about these unjust actions.

Two things that I learnt yesterday about filming was:

First, they use close up shot to expresses the feeling on the character face.

Second one is Extreme close up, which gives the audience more depth in the movie.
